What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves being on the field with his teammates and enjoys competing against others, along with the family aspect that playing at Notre Dame gives him.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

When he was a little kid he looked up to the varsity team and one kid in particular, Sam Kayser. Sam was a senior when Chris was in second grade, he inspired Chris to play football. He is the reason Chris wears the number two.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The first game of his sophomore year he tore his ACL in his left knee, he played the rest of that game and then had knee surgery and was out that season, however he was at every team event, games, practices and anything else. He made a full recovery and is back 110%, he also as I noticed is someone whom all the younger class men look up to and inspire to be like.
