Christopher

What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Christopher loves the excitement and challenge of football. He enjoys learning new skills, competing, making plays, and seeing himself improve. But he also loves being part of a team. Football gives him the opportunity to build friendships, encourage his teammates, and work together toward a common goal. Whether his team is winning or losing, he loves the game and always finds a reason to keep going.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Christopher is inspired by his stepdad, who has played an important role in helping him learn and understand football. He takes the time to practice with Christopher, teach him more about the game, and encourage him to keep improving. Their time together has helped Christopher grow not only as a football player, but also in his confidence, discipline, and determination.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments came when Christopher’s team was losing. Instead of getting discouraged or giving up, he kept cheering for his teammates and trying to lift their spirits. At only 8, he showed me that leadership isn’t just about making big plays—it’s about how you respond when things aren’t going your way. Christopher never gives up, always encourages others, and constantly strives to be better than he was the day before.
