It gives him a sense of drive and belonging. He loves everything about hockey, the drive, the cold, everything.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His favourite athlete is Connor McDavid, but also he loves Wayne Gretzky and everything that he has done for the sport.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Getting to AP with the u9 team in his second year in the sport.
