What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Other than striving to keep the sport alive, Cole loves the challenge of becoming a better archer. He loves the focus, discipline, and patience it takes to make the perfect shot. Archery has taught him to stay calm under pressure, learn from mistakes, and trust himself. He loves competing, meeting other archers, and being part of a community that shares his passion. Most of all, he loves the feeling of stepping to the line, taking a deep breath, and watching an arrow hit exactly where he aimed.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Cole is inspired most by us/his parents, who have always encouraged him to work hard, stay humble, and never give up when things get difficult. In archery, he is inspired by the competitors around him who constantly push themselves to improve. Watching experienced archers motivates Cole to set bigger goals for himself and reminds him that success comes from dedication, consistency, and believing in yourself. He strives to carry those lessons both on and off the shooting line.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment in Cole’s athletic journey that makes me proudest is watching him continue to compete and push forward, even when things don’t go exactly as planned. I’m proud of the way he has grown—not just as an archer, but as a young man. Seeing his discipline, determination, and commitment to improving reminds me that the greatest victories aren’t always measured by a score.They’re found in the character he builds along the way.
