Learn MoreHe is a competitor and loves to play any game or sport but especially baseball. It's a daily thing to play catch, field ground balls or hit with his dad. He loves diving for any ball that comes his way or sliding head first into a base. He also loves sharing his passion with his family and his teammates who have become some of his best friends.
First and foremost his Dad. His dad practices with him daily is always game for playing catch and shows up for him in every way. Second is Bobby Witt Jr-as a die hard Royals fan the thing he wished for his 8th birthday was to play baseball with Bobby. He admires his hard work and competitive drive as well as his dedication as a teammate.
In one game he struck out twice, and got out on a base running error which is very uncharacteristic of him. He was visibly upset and struggled that game. However he stepped up, worked hard to improve and never struck out again that season.
