What I love most about playing lacrosse is the speed of the game and how competitive it is. I play attack most of the time, but I also play midfield when needed. I enjoy working with my teammates, creating scoring opportunities, and the excitement of putting the ball in the back of the net. Every game is different, and I like the challenge of constantly getting better and competing with my team.
On the field, I’m inspired by my coaches and teammates because they push me to work harder and be a better player every day. Off the field, my family inspires me the most. They support me, encourage me, and remind me to keep working toward my goals no matter what challenges come my way.
One moment that made me especially proud was watching Conner’s confidence grow through lacrosse. Seeing him put in the hard work at practices, stay committed, and then watch that effort pay off during games has been incredibly rewarding. While I’m proud of his accomplishments on the field, what makes me even prouder is the teammate and young man he’s become—supporting others, showing resilience, and never giving up. Watching him grow both as an athlete and as a person has been the greatest part.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
