Receive Text UpdatesConnor loves volleyball because it challenges him to be better every time he steps on the court. He loves the competition, and the feeling of working toward something bigger than himself with his teammates. Volleyball has taught him discipline, resilience, trust, and how to perform under pressure. Most of all, he loves the brotherhood, the pursuit of getting better, and the feeling that there is always another level to reach.
Connor’s dad is his biggest inspiration, both on and off the court. He has taught him that success comes from hard work, discipline, integrity, and never giving up when things get difficult. They share a love of the game, and more than anything, his dad has shown him the importance of being a good person and always giving his best in everything he does.
It’s hard to pick just one moment because I’m most proud of how Connor sets a goal and works relentlessly toward it. Whether he achieves exactly what he set out to do or not, he learns from the journey and carries those lessons forward. If I had to choose one moment, it would be watching him win gold with Team Florida, a moment that represented so much of the hard work he had put in along the way.
