He loves competing, being part of a team, and pushing himself against older, stronger players. Baseball gives him the chance to challenge himself every time he steps on the field—whether he’s on the mound, in the outfield, or helping his team win. He also loves the friendships, the travel, and the experience of playing alongside high-level athletes while working toward his dream of playing at the next level.
His biggest inspiration is his dad, Jay. Watching him work hard, stay positive through tough times, and never give up has shown Cooper the value of resilience and determination. On the field, he’s also inspired by the older players and college athletes, Seeing their work ethic and dedication motivates him to keep improving and chase his own baseball goals.
The moment that makes me proudest is when Cooper was selected to represent Team Saskatchewan. Watching him put on that jersey was emotional because I know how much hard work, sacrifice, and heart went into earning it. Every early morning, every practice, every setback, and every achievement led to that moment. Seeing him live out a dream he’s worked so hard for fills me with pride. No matter where baseball takes him, I’ll always remember the day he became Team Sask.
