What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Corey’s love for football is rooted deeply in the challenges it presents and the constant learning it demands. For him, football is much more than just a game—it’s a dynamic puzzle that pushes him physically, mentally, and emotionally every time he steps onto the field. What draws Corey most is the sheer challenge of the sport. Football is fast-paced and unpredictable, requiring players to think quickly and adapt on the fly. He thrives on this kind of pressure.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My dad inspires me the most, he played basketball overseas for almost a decade. It sparked a dream in me to reach that level in my own sport. Seeing his path made me want to achieve something similar and he encouraged me each and everyday from a young age to work hard and pursue my dreams of becoming an professional athlete one day, with the same dedication he had. His example and support motivate me to give my best and never give up on your goals and dreams.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Corey showed remarkable resilience and determination. The stress of his personal situation could have easily affected his performance, but instead, he used it as motivation to push through each game with focus and strength. His ability to maintain a high level of athletic excellence while coping with such a difficult circumstance speaks volumes about his character and dedication, setting him apart as an inspiring young athlete at the age of 10 years old.
