He likes to be challenged and grow and learn new things daily. When he scores he feels like everything he has been working on is showing its purpose. He loves just being able to do support his team and spread compassion and grit on the field.
Corey’s inspiration is Cristiano Ronaldo. He inspires him because he did not have a lot growing up and continued to work hard and never give up showing his resilience and determination. Cristiano Ronaldo made a huge difference to his first ever professional team and Corey strives to be an important piece of his teams history in the same way.
One moment that makes me the proudest in Corey’s athletic journey is playing in a soccer tournament with one of his teams that, in the past, would keep placing second and never giving up and watching him leave his all on the field and encourage his teammates to fight hard and they won the championship!
