What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

As his mom, I love watching my son play sports because I can see how happy and confident it makes him. Sports give him a place to challenge himself, work hard, build friendships, and learn the value of teamwork and dedication. He loves competing, improving, and giving his best every time he steps on the field or court. Most importantly, sports allow him to be himself, have fun, and chase his dreams while making his parents proud every step of the way.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My son is inspired by the people who love and support him most, especially his mom, dad, family, teammates, coaches, and the athletes he looks up to. We remind him every day that hard work, faith, and dedication can take him anywhere. Now, as he prepares to become a big brother, he is learning even more about love, responsibility, and being a great role model. He is surrounded by so much love and support, and that inspires him to be better on and off the field.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments in my son’s athletic journey is watching him walk onto the field for the coin toss and then stand with his teammates for the team breakdown chant. Seeing him surrounded by his teammates, representing his team with so much pride, reminds me how far he has come. As his mom, watching his confidence grow and seeing the love and respect he has for his teammates makes my heart so full. These are the moments I’ll cherish forever.
