When teammates couldn't make this summer's national championship, he reached out to players from rival schools so they wouldn't miss out. Truly selfless, inspiring, and big-hearted!
On and off the court, his inspiration is us—his parents. We teach him that you get what you put out into the world, to always be a good person, and that with God first, hard work, grit, and a never-give-up spirit, anything is possible.
I have so many moments to choose from, but what makes my heart swell most is his daily, quiet selflessness and his unstoppable drive. He sets his mind to something and gives it his all. One of my proudest moments was when he was just 11 years old and intentionally chose to be baptized—a beautiful reflection of his deep-rooted faith and heart.
