Learn MoreWhat i love most about football is how brotherhood and physicality are inseparable. Lining up shoulder to shoulder, I know every guy would take a hit for me, and I’d do the same. The collisions force trust. You learn fast you’re only as strong as the man beside you. Two-a-days, 4th and 1, the bruises we share become stories. Bonds aren’t built easy. They’re forged in hits, huddles, and knowing nobody quits.
For me, football is bigger than the game because God and Jesus are at the center, on and off the field. I pray for strength and discipline before every snap. Faith grounds me in chaos and humbles me after wins or losses. Jesus taught sacrifice, so I lead by serving teammates first. Ray Lewis showed me faith and fire can coexist. His passion and purpose inspire me. The whistle ends plays, not character.
The proudest moment of my journey came the night I broke my clavicle. I took a hit, heard the pop, and fire shot through my shoulder. Trainers ran out, and I wanted to stay down. But I saw my brothers in the huddle and couldn’t leave them. Adrenaline and faith took over. I lined up for one more play. That snap proved heart beats pain. I’d rather fight with my team than quit.
