Bodybuilding has taught him that progress does not happen overnight, and he genuinely enjoys the challenge of improving little by little. He loves training, setting goals and proving to himself that he can keep going even when it gets difficult.
Chris Bumstead and Arnold Schwarzenegger both inspire him. He admires Chris for his discipline, humility and the way he keeps pushing through setbacks. Arnold inspires him because he dreamed big and created success in so many areas of his life. They both show him that hard work, confidence and persistence can take you far.
One of my proudest moments was watching him step onstage for his first bodybuilding competition. As his mom, I am always worried about how hard he pushes himself, but that day he was so proud of what he had accomplished, and he looked incredible. Seeing his confidence and knowing how much discipline, sacrifice and determination had gone into that moment made me unbelievably proud.
