What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most about playing sports is the constant opportunity to grow, compete, and be part of something bigger than himself. He loves the challenge of pushing his limits, learning from his coaches, studying his opponents, and finding ways to become a better athlete and teammate. He truly enjoys the intensity of competition, but what means just as much to him is the bond he shares with his teammates. He loves encouraging them, celebrating their successes, and knowing they can count on him.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His biggest inspiration is his dad, who played youth football and baseball and wrestled in high school. His dad taught him that success comes from hard work, discipline, preparation, and never giving up. His coaches inspire him to accept constructive criticism and always improve. He is also inspired by his teammates who work hard and support one another. Most of all, he admires his mother’s dedication & tenacity because she leads by example.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Im most proud of his recovery from a broken leg during his last season of youth football an injury that caused doubt and uncertainty about his future in sports. He committed himself fully to PT and came back stronger & better than before. He refused to let his injury dictate what he was capable of and truly embraced a “mind over matter” mentality. His determination gave him the confidence to enter high school believing in himself, which lead to him becoming Special Teams Player of the Year !
