Learn MoreWhat he loves most about sports is the excitement, competition, and challenge of becoming better every day. At 11 years old, sports are truly a huge part of who he is. He is athletic, determined, and passionate about everything he plays. He loves learning, competing, being part of a team, and giving his all every time. He doesn’t just play sports—he lives them. He eats, breathes, and sleeps sports!
He is inspired by his mother, grandmother, twin sister, and brother because they are always there to support, encourage, and believe in him. They motivate him to work hard, stay focused, never give up, and always be proud of who he is. Their love and encouragement push him to be his best both on and off the field.
The moment that makes me proudest happened last football season. He was upset because he felt his teammates weren’t blocking for him. I told him, “Baby, you can’t block for yourself and run the ball at the same time.” He proved me wrong! He blocked two players, knocked them down, jumped over them while holding the ball, and still took off running. The commentators said he was “bowling for Bulldogs!” I was beyond proud!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
