What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Dalyzmar loves the challenge of boxing—the discipline, the training, and the feeling of becoming stronger every day. She loves stepping into the ring because it gives her a chance to test herself, overcome fear, and prove that hard work can turn a dream into reality. But what she loves most is knowing that every time she trains, she is becoming a stronger athlete and a stronger person.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Dalyzmar is inspired by the people who believe in her and continue to push her to become better, especially her coaches and family. They teach her that talent is only the beginning and that discipline, humility, and perseverance are what create champions. She is also inspired by other young female athletes who refuse to let their age or circumstances define what they can accomplish. Dalyzmar hopes to become that inspiration for another little girl one day.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me most proud is seeing Dalyzmar become the youngest boxer in the world to receive the WBAN Championship Belt. Watching my daughter accomplish something so extraordinary at such a young age was emotional beyond words. But what made me even prouder was knowing how much work, sacrifice, discipline, and perseverance happened behind that moment. That belt represents far more than a championship—it represents every early morning, every difficult training session, every obstacle
