Damian’s biggest inspiration is his older brother, Aiden. He has always looked up to him and loves watching him play. Aiden is a great athlete in both hockey and baseball, and he inspires Damian to work hard, improve his skills, and enjoy the sports they both love.
One moment in Damian’s athletic journey that makes me especially proud happened during a hockey game. His teammate fell on the ice, and a player from the other team knocked his teammate’s stick farther away. Instead of just continuing with the game, Damian went back, picked up his teammate’s stick, and then helped his friend get back up. It showed his kindness, sportsmanship, and that being a great teammate means more to him than just winning.
