On the field Danica is inspired by Jennie Finch for her determination and gave it her all. Being inducted into the Softball Hall of Fame motivates Danica to keep doing her best. Danica is also inspired by an older travel ball player where Danica plays named Kylie. Danica is inspired by how Kylie plays the game with a smile and never lets mistakes or losses bring her down. Off the field Danica is inspired by her mom for the love, and support she gives everyone and her believing in Danica.
One moment in Danica’s journey that makes us the proudest is when her team needed a pitcher she stepped up not knowing at the time how or what pitching was about. She is now considered the Mariano Rivera for her team. Danica also supports and uplifts her teammates when they are down never letting anyone leave the field without knowing how well they did in that game or practice.
