Learn MoreI enjoy the one on one competition within the team atmosphere. We still have to work together as a team but we each have individual goals we need to achieve to help the team move forward. It's awesome when I'm able to reach those goals that I've set for myself or help my team set for ourselves.
My coaches inspire me on the mat. They push me to my limits and are always there when I need to work on something. They encourage me to keep improving, work hard, and never give up, even when things get tough. The person who inspires me off the mat would have to be my grandfather(Pop Pop). He’s always there for me, and he helps me with my goals. He always supports me, gives me advice, and motivates me to do my best. That’s who inspires me on and off the mat.
Winning MAWA Eastern Nationals. Because the first 2 times I entered I didn't win. I set that as one of my goals. I was happy to achieve this. It's a tournament with multiple states competing and over 3 different tournaments. A District, Regional, and then Eastern Nationals.
