The person who inspires Darrell on and off the field is his mom. She always works hard, encourages Darrell to do his best, and never gives up, even when things are difficult. His mom teaches him to be kind, respectful, and to keep trying, whether he’s playing sports or doing things at school. Darrell wants to be just like his mom because she always believe in him.
One moment that makes me proudest wasn’t just about scoring points or winning a game- it was about seeing Darrell refuse to give up when things got tough. He kept working hard, stayed positive, supported his teammates, and finished with confidence. Watching him grow into a resilient, respectful, and determined athlete has been the greatest reward. I’m most proud of the person he’s becoming, both on and off the field.
