What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Daryl loves the challenge of basketball and always having something new to improve. But what he loves most is sharing the game with his twin brother, Kelyan. They’ve played side by side since they were little, pushing, challenging and supporting each other. Basketball is more than a sport for them it’s a journey they share together, with the same dream of seeing how far the game can take them. 🏀❤️

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Daryl is inspired by Giannis Antetokounmpo, not only for his journey, work ethic, and determination, but also because Daryl has always noticed a physical resemblance between them. Off the court, his biggest inspiration is his father, who also played basketball. His father introduced him to the game, continues to guide and push him, and taught him the importance of discipline, hard work, and never giving up.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments was watching Daryl win his high school championship while fasting for Ramadan. Despite the physical challenge, he stayed committed, focused, and gave everything he had for his team. Watching him push through fatigue and become a champion showed me that his greatest strength goes beyond basketball it’s his determination, discipline, and heart.
