Whether it’s practice, training, or a big game, he wants to be on the field. Baseball has taught him discipline, confidence, teamwork, and how to respond when things don’t go his way. For David, baseball isn’t just something he plays it’s something he genuinely loves.
David is inspired by the people who believe in him his family, coaches, and teammates. He looks up to players who have worked hard for everything they’ve achieved because that reminds him that nothing is given to you. You have to earn it. He wants to continue improving, make his family proud, and prove that with hard work, discipline, and determination, he can accomplish the goals he has set for himself.
My proudest moments aren’t just when David gets a big hit or makes a great play. It’s watching him struggle, get disappointed, and still come back wanting to work harder. I’ve watched him grow from a kid who simply loved baseball into a young athlete who takes the game seriously, leads his teammates, and refuses to give up on himself. Seeing the person he’s becoming through baseball makes me prouder than any trophy ever could.
