He thrives on pushing his limits, trusting the process, and seeing hard work translate into faster times. Beyond competing, he values the discipline, resilience, and mental toughness the sport has instilled in him, knowing each race is another step toward becoming the best athlete and person he can be.
De-Mani's biggest inspiration is his mom. She taught him what perseverance looks like by never giving up, no matter the challenge. As a former college track athlete, she understands the dedication and sacrifice the sport requires. Her example motivates De-Mani to work hard, stay disciplined, and keep chasing his goals, even when the journey gets tough.
One of the moments that makes me proudest was watching De-Mani overcome a hamstring injury. Instead of letting it discourage him, he committed to physical therapy, stayed disciplined, and worked tirelessly every day to recover. His determination, resilience, and positive attitude allowed him to return stronger and continue pursuing his goals with even greater purpose.
