No surprise that Messi is Declan’s favorite soccer player and he aspires to be like him. He is also inspired by all the professionals who worked hard and never gave up on their dreams.
Every time Declan steps onto the field I am proud to call him my son because I know he gives 110% every game. I think my proudest moment as his mom though was when he showed great sportsmanship after accidentally tripping an opposing player. He helped the player up and made sure he was okay. As a parent that’s all you ask for in your child. To be kind in every circumstance. I’m very proud to call Declan my son and will always be his biggest cheerleader.
