My son loves playing football because it gives him a chance to compete, challenge himself, and be part of a team. He loves being on the field, making plays, learning new skills, and working together with his teammates. Most of all, he loves the excitement of the game and the feeling of knowing that his hard work, dedication, and determination can make a difference. Football gives him confidence, discipline, and something he truly enjoys doing.
My son is inspired by his parents, family, coaches, and teammates. On the field, his coaches and teammates motivate him to work hard, never give up, and always give his best. Off the field, his family inspires him to be respectful, responsible, and a good person. He looks up to the people who believe in him, encourage him, and remind him that with hard work and faith, he can accomplish anything he puts his mind to.
One of the moments that made me the proudest of Junebug was watching him play 10U at 7 years old, he gave it everything he had, and never give up—no matter how tough the game was. Seeing his confidence grow, watching him make plays, support his teammates, and keep pushing through challenges reminded me just how hard he works. As his mom, I’m proudest not just of the football player he’s becoming, but of the strong, determined young man he is.
