Most importantly, he has learned to inspire himself by believing in his abilities and challenging himself to be better than he was yesterday. Their support reminds him that success comes from dedication, discipline, and perseverance.
There isn’t one single moment that makes me proudest. Watching DeSharion grow as an athlete, push through challenges, and continue to give his best makes me proud every day. I am proud of the way he keeps showing up, works hard, and refuses to give up. Watching him develop not only as an athlete but also as a young man has been the greatest part of his athletic journey.
