What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves the feeling of competing, being part of a team, and pushing herself to be better every day. Basketball is more than a sport to her—it’s where she gives everything she has. She loves the challenge, the friendships, and knowing that every practice and every game is another chance to grow, compete, and leave everything on the court.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Her biggest inspiration is her family, especially the people who have believed in her through every high and low. Their support reminds her to keep going when things get hard. She also inspires herself by remembering how far she has come. She knows the work behind every achievement, and that motivates her to keep pushing and never give up.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment I’m proudest of is when she scored her 1,000th career basket during her junior year. I watched the years of hard work, sweat, tears, early mornings, practices, and games that led to that moment. Seeing her reach 1,000 points wasn’t just about the number—it showed me what happens when she believes in herself, stays dedicated, and never gives up.
