Most of all, he loves having fun, competing, and discovering just how strong, focused, and capable he can be.
DJ’s favorite player and biggest athletic inspiration is Justin Jefferson. He admires his incredible catches, confidence, energy, and passion for football. DJ loves watching him compete and celebrate with joy while continuing to work hard at his craft. Justin Jefferson inspires DJ to believe in himself, play fearlessly, and dream of becoming an outstanding football player in his own unique way.
My proudest moments are watching DJ keep going after a difficult play. Instead of giving up, he listens to his coaches, resets, and gets ready for the next opportunity. Seeing him develop that resilience at such a young age means more to me than any touchdown. Football is teaching him that mistakes do not define him; his courage to try again does.
