Track has taught him discipline, resilience, and confidence, and he loves the feeling of seeing all his hard work pay off when he crosses the finish line. Just as important, he enjoys being part of a team that encourages each other to be their best.
His biggest inspiration is mom. Watching her build a successful business while overcoming life's challenges has taught him the value of hard work, perseverance, and never giving up. She has shown him that success comes from dedication, resilience, and believing in yourself, and he carries those lessons with him both on and off the track.
The moment that makes me proudest isn't a single race—it's seeing how much he's grown through the sport. Watching him set personal goals, work tirelessly to improve, and continue showing up with determination, even when things don't go his way, has been incredible. Seeing his hard work translate into faster times and greater confidence reminds me that the person he's becoming is even more important than the medals he earns.
