What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreI love the challenge of getting better every day and pushing myself to improve. I enjoy competing, working with my teammates, and being part of something bigger than myself. My sports baseball, basketball, and football has taught me discipline, resilience, and confidence. There's nothing like the excitement of game day and the feeling of reaching goals that I've worked hard to achieve.
My biggest inspiration is my mom because she has taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and treating others with respect. She leads by example, supports me through every challenge, and encourages me to keep improving without giving up. Her strength, work ethic, and positive attitude inspire me to be a better athlete, teammate, and person every day.
The moment I'm proudest of is not giving up on baseball when I felt like I wasn't good enough. There were times I doubted myself and wanted to quit, but I kept showing up, worked harder, and believed that I could improve. Pushing through those challenges taught me resilience, built my confidence, and showed me that growth comes from perseverance, not giving up.
