Learn MoreMy son has a true love for football. From the excitement of being on the field to learning new skills and being part of a team, the game brings out his confidence and competitive spirit. He enjoys pushing himself, improving, and having fun with his teammates. Football gives him something to look forward to while teaching him discipline, teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship. I love watching his passion for the game continue to grow!
His godfather inspires him both on and off the field. He coaches him in football and baseball, teaching him discipline, confidence, hard work, and never giving up. Off the field, he shows him what ambition looks like as a barber, clothing brand designer, and now by pursuing his dream of becoming a licensed Master Barber. He’s not only his coach and godfather, but a positive role model showing him that with dedication, he can accomplish anything.
One of my proudest football memories was watching my son step up when his team needed him most. After a teammate accidentally ran toward the wrong end zone, my son was given the opportunity to make the winning play. He received the ball near the opposing end zone and ran the entire field dodging defenders, jumping over flag pulls, and squeezing through tight spaces to score the game-winning touchdown!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
