What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Divine loves most about flag football is the opportunity to learn, improve, and challenge herself. She enjoys watching videos, working out, and finding new ways to get better when she practices. She also loves the excitement of competing and, just as importantly, being part of a team. It’s clear that she enjoys not only playing the sport, but also the process of learning and growing as an athlete.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Divine is inspired most by her family, especially her siblings, who are more than 10 years older than her. They are always there to support her by showing up to her games, working out with her, and encouraging her to push herself and be the best she can be. Their support and example motivate Divine both on and off the field, and they remind her that hard work, dedication, and believing in yourself can help her reach her goals.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me proudest is seeing her take the extra steps to improve herself. She takes the initiative to research, watch videos, learn new techniques, and find ways to grow in the sport she loves. Seeing her do this on her own shows me that she is truly passionate and dedicated. It reminds me that she's not just participating, she genuinely loves the sport and is willing to put in the work to become better.
