What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most about baseball is the mental challenge it brings. He enjoys learning how to stay focused, work together as a team, and understand that one bad at-bat or one mistake in the field doesn't define the game. Baseball has taught him the importance of resetting, staying confident, and coming back stronger on the very next play. Those lessons have become just as meaningful to him as the game itself.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Jackie Robinson inspires my him both on and off the field because, as a biracial child, he sees someone who overcame incredible challenges with courage, determination, and grace. Jackie Robinson faced discrimination and adversity while breaking barriers in baseball, yet he never gave up on his dream or let others define his worth. His perseverance, resilience, and ability to lead by example showed him that character matters just as much as talent.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me the proudest is watching his mental growth as a baseball player. No matter how well he plays, he always believes there's something he can improve. He never settles or becomes complacent. His determination is evident even on his days off, when he'll spend hours practicing, watching videos, studying the game, and finding ways to get better. Seeing his dedication, discipline, and willingness to put in the work when no one is watching makes me proud not just of the athlete he's becomin
