What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Drew loves the competition no matter what sport he is playing. He loves making outstanding defensive plays, hitting home runs or hitting great line drives and seeing his accomplishments after each game. Most of all, Drew loves the competition! Drew’s favorite thing is competing alongside his teammates and working together as one. He has a strong drive to get better every game, always pushing himself to learn, improve, and be the best athlete he can be.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Drew is inspired by his three older siblings, who all play competitive sports. He looks up to them and strives to compete as strongly as they do, especially his older brother, who has earned great awards in his high school baseball career. On the field, his coaches inspire him to keep his head up through difficult games and always be ready for the next play.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Our proudest moment was watching Drew win the Golden Bat Award at the 2026 Cal Ripken World Series. Before the tournament, Drew learned about the award and told us he wanted to win it. He set a goal, worked hard, and accomplished it! The award was given to the All-Tournament player with the highest batting average among all teams. Seeing him achieve a goal he had set for himself was an incredible moment our family will remember forever.
