What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most is the challenge of becoming the best version of himself. Wrestling has taught him discipline, perseverance, and resilience. He loves setting goals, working hard every day, and seeing that dedication pay off. Wrestling has built his confidence, character, and mental toughness.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He is inspired by his faith, his parents, and his coaches. They encourage him to give his best, stay humble in victory, learn from defeat, and use his talents to honor God. Their example reminds him that character matters more than medals.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment I’m most proud of was watching him compete at the state tournament. He battled intense anxiety leading up to the competition, but instead of letting fear stop him, he took it one match at a time. His perseverance, courage, and trust in the process led him to become a State Champion. More than the title, I’m proud that he learned to overcome fear through determination and resilience.
