He loves being on the field, whether he’s practicing or playing in a big game. Baseball is where he is happiest, and his love for the game shows every time he steps on the field.
His dad is one of his biggest inspirations. They share a love for sports, especially baseball, and his dad has always taught him to work hard, stay humble, be a good teammate, and never give up. He looks up to him both on and off the field.
It’s hard to choose just one moment because I’m most proud of the athlete and teammate he has become. Watching his confidence grow, seeing how hard he works, and seeing him continue to push himself even when things don’t go his way makes me incredibly proud. His sportsmanship, determination, and love for baseball mean more to me than any hit, catch, or win ever could.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
