Competition gives me the chance to prove myself on the pitch and show that I belong. It pushes me to play my best and keep improving. Freedom means every day is a clean slate. I can go out, have fun, trust myself, and just play. I have nothing to lose, so I can enjoy the moment, compete hard, and give everything I have.
Off the pitch, my biggest inspirations are my mom, dad, and coach. My parents have always supported me financially, physically, and emotionally, giving me every opportunity to chase my goals. My coach inspires me to always give my best no matter what I’m doing. On the pitch, I look up to Iker Casillas because he overcame so many challenges and still became one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time.
Discipline is what makes us most proud of his journey. We’ve watched him transform his habits, training, and mindset. This year, when two close teammates made an MLS NEXT team affiliated with an MLS club and he was named an alternate, he congratulated and supported them. He didn’t complain or make excuses. He dug deeper, trained harder, and stayed disciplined. That showed us his character: he simply does the work.
