What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Football helped Ealom since he was little as he suffered from severe social anxiety. When we went through a pretty nasty divorce in 2021, Football was his constant! It kept him grounded, focused and an outlet when things got hard at home. Football and wrestling have helped him gain confidence, set goals and provide him with the support needed to help him grow. He had a goal to be one of the top Idaho 8th grade football players and was invited and played at the Idaho All State Game.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

All of the Lakeland Junior Tackle staff and coaches are amazing! They inspire Ealom to be the best version of him he can be! They see the potential in him as a player and always pushed him to strive past his goals. On the field, his team captain, and the coaches kid, helped Ealom with being accepted and become a more competitive player. Off the field, The Minnesota Vikings team are who inspire Ealom. Even though they haven't won a Super Bowl and they can be disappointing. They push hard!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Ealom is a kind soul! And it makes being mean or aggressive sometimes very hard. Ealom hit a QB and sent him flying. Hit hard his helmet fell off! Ealom immediatly didnt go to celebreating or showboating, but instead showed deep concern for the QB immediatly kneeling and asking for a side line coach. He started praying for the QB on the opposing team and staying by his side until he got up and was helped off the field. Ealom has AMAZING character, leading and sportsmaship qualities.
