The competition and the opportunity to keep improving. He is naturally humble, but when he steps on the field, he loves working hard, doing his job, and competing. He enjoys being part of something bigger than himself and knowing that every player has a role in the team’s success.
My mom inspires me because she’s always there for me and pushes me to do my best. She makes a lot of sacrifices so I can play football and have opportunities to succeed. Seeing how hard she works makes me want to work even harder. I want to make her proud on and off the field.
One of the moments that makes me proudest was when he competed in the Junior Olympics for shot put, placing third in Florida and fifth in the nation. He went in just wanting to do his best, without expecting a big finish and only surprised himself with how far he went. Seeing his hard work pay off and the smile on his face, that’s a memory I’ll never forget.
