Easton’s biggest inspiration on and off the field is his dad. His dad is a coach and former college football player, and he is where Easton’s love for sports began. His dad has taught him to work hard, never give up, and always chase his dreams. Their love for sports has even grown into a sports card business. To Easton, his dad isn’t just his coach, he’s his role model, biggest supporter, and the person who inspires him to become the best athlete and person he can be.
One of the moments that makes me most proud of Easton isn’t a trophy or a big play, it’s watching him find his love for football again. We decided to make a change, after Easton was on a team that wasn’t a good match. Instead of giving up, he stepped onto the new team and gave it everything he had. Seeing him choose to keep going, overcome disappointment, and not let one bad experience define his journey is one of my proudest moments as his mom.
