Dad on the field due to the fact he has seen game footage of his dad playing and trains with his dad. The never quit mentality has been installed at a young age. Off the field he’s inspired simply by being a big brother and wanting to set the example for his brother and sister.
Tie game and coach turned to him and let him call the last play with 3 seconds left (he was QB this year) he chose to give the ball to a player who had not touched the ball all game. Instead of keeping it himself he gave someone else the opportunity to enjoy the moment. The game ended in a tie but this showed a lot about his character.
