When they step on the field and dominate. The felling of all the hard work paying off is their favourite part of playing sports.
His great Grandfather. He fought in ww2 and dug a tunnel to leave a prisoner of war camp walked across Europe and never gave up. “Every time I’m hurting on a run or can’t get one more rep I think of how hard he worked and that I can always do better” -Elijah.
The moment in their athletic journey that makes me the proudest was when he dislocated his hip. All though it was a terrible moment when he was sitting in the chair waiting for the ambulance he told me the reason he was crying was because he couldn’t go back out there and help the people that kept him from giving up, he was scared he’d never get the chance to live the dream he worked so hard for. That moment really showed me that’s he puts other and good work ethic first and made me so proud.
