I love baseball because I get to compete, challenge myself, and be part of a team. I love stepping up to the plate, making plays, and helping my team. Every practice and game gives me another chance to improve. I especially love the feeling when all my hard work pays off.
My family inspires me because they have supported me since I started playing baseball. My coaches inspire me by pushing me to work harder and teaching me that talent isn’t enough—you have to practice, stay focused, and be coachable. I also look up to great baseball players because they show me what dedication and discipline can accomplish.
One of my proudest moments was hitting my first over-the-fence home run. I had worked hard for that moment, so watching the ball go over the fence was something I’ll never forget. It showed me that all the practices, swings, mistakes, and times I kept trying were worth it. It made me want to work even harder because I know I can keep getting better. ⚾️💪🏾
