What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Elijah loves most about football and wrestling is the opportunity to improve. He loves seeing his hard work turn into progress, but he also loves the people beside him. His teammates push him, encourage him, and make every practice and competition meaningful. Whether he’s working to become stronger, smarter, or more disciplined, Elijah loves knowing there is always another level to reach.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Elijah is inspired by his wrestling coach, Brandon Wright. Coach Wright leads by example through his work ethic, determination, and commitment to others. What stands out most to Elijah is that Coach Wright doesn’t just develop athletes—he helps people. He gives back to the community and makes a positive difference in the lives of everyone who crosses his path. Elijah hopes to carry those same qualities with him.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moments that make me proudest aren’t just when Elijah wins—they’re when he leads. Watching him encourage teammates, help someone who is struggling, and make the right choice even when no one is watching reminds me that the athlete he is becoming is only part of the story. He is kind, dependable, and willing to help anyone in need. Seeing him lead through his actions is what makes me proudest.
