What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves both of her sports because they have shifted her into the woman she is today. She has pushed herself beyond her limits in life, she has built many life long bonds and relationships. She enjoys the commitment she’s made to her sports and the lessons she’s learned.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Elise has been inspired by several people in her life. Her biggest one being her teammate that took his own life, she’s done everything in his honor and his name. Alongside her coaches, family and teammates have encouraged every step of the way to push her for success.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

When Elise needed ankle surgery due to wear and tear on her joint, she chose to wait to have surgery to finish the season and compete with her team at Cheerleading All Star Worlds and had surgery the week after her team competed. Her eagerness to cheer on her teammates is truly remarkable as well.
