What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What she loves most about playing sports is the feeling of being part of something bigger. The friendships, the competition, the adrenaline, and the memories made with teammates. Softball has taught her how to work hard, stay determined, handle challenges, and never give up. There’s nothing like stepping onto the field, knowing the team is counting on you, and giving everything you have. The wins are amazing, but the people, lessons, and memories are what she’ll carry with her.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My daughter chooses me, her mother, as her biggest inspiration because she has watched me work hard, care deeply for others, and never give up, even when life gets challenging. I’ve always encouraged her to chase her dreams, believe in herself, and give her best in everything she does. Watching her balance softball, school, activities, work, and friendships makes me incredibly proud. If she sees even a little of the strength and determination I see in her, then I know I’ve done something right.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment in her athletic career that makes me most proud was watching her sophomore year unfold as a varsity starter on a state championship team. She earned her place on that field through hard work, dedication, and perseverance. What makes it even more incredible is that she balanced the demands of varsity softball with maintaining all A’s, school musical, dance team, bocce, work, and so much more. She proved that with determination and heart, you can accomplish more than you ever imagined.
