What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

They love the challenge of constantly improving and pushing themselves to be better. Whether it’s skating or golf, they love competing, setting goals, and seeing their hard work pay off. Most of all, they love the feeling of representing their teams and community while doing something they’re truly passionate about.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

She has been influenced by many people throughout her athletic journey. Her grandfather inspired her love for golf and encouraged her to keep improving, while her mother has always supported her passion for skating. Her friends have made sports more enjoyable and motivated her to keep going, while her coaches have pushed her to grow, work harder, and believe in herself. Together, they have shaped her into the athlete she is today.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

As her parent, one of the moments that makes me the proudest is seeing how she has continued to push herself through every challenge. Whether it’s on the golf course or the ice, she never gives up and always finds a way to keep improving. Watching her compete, grow in confidence, and chase her goals has been incredibly rewarding. I’m most proud of the person she has become through her journey, not just the athlete.
