Ellarina loves training, trying new skills and pushing herself in practice. She loves dancing with her friends, encouraging her teammates and fellow dance friends. Even if they are from another studio. All her hard work is rewarded when she gets to perform on the stage and show what she’s been working on.
Ellarina is inspired by many, she looks up to great dancers like Tiler Peck, who helps her dream about what she could be. To looking up to her teachers, and dancers beside her. Two teacher’s who have inspired her are Kendell and Celeste, both of whom have taught her technique, challenged her with strength, flexibility, and trying new turns, extensions, and more. But not only that they have taught her how to be a good person, how to celebrate her wins and be respectful.
While I’m proud of her hard work in the studio, and her confidence and performance on stage, and when she places, what makes me the most proud is when I see her celebrate her friends wins, acknowledge those who helped her get where she is, and cheer for others from other studios. Watching her become a good person who can compete with grace, and want the best for everyone warms my heart. She has done this from the start on her own at the age of 5.
