What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreThe grind! Elliot has learned from the age of 3, when starting in Wrestling, that nothing comes easy. Everything that he has achieved in his athletic career has been because he knows he has to work at it. Weather it’s winning state multiple times in the world of wrestling, locals in football or club championships in soccer, he knows to get there he has to be in love with the process.
“My Dad”, Elliot says, knowing that without him pushing Elliot to strive for better, he wouldn’t be where he is. On the mat, Coach Izzy is his number one inspiration. Seeing the accomplishments that the national champion he calls, Coach has made in his own career, inspires Elliot to continue to run the grueling course that athletics can be.
It’s hard to pick one as I have so many that make me proud. Seeing him accomplish whatever he puts his mind to but more than that, what makes me proud is that he doesn’t quit. When things get hard or don’t go his way he doesn’t give up. Pushing for more and getting better. I am proudest of his hard work and dedication to perfect his craft on and off the field and mat and more importantly life.
